My Boyfriend Cheated

I know it doesnt seem right to forgive one person and not the other, but its also really hard to loose two people you love at once. I have completely written off my friend, but still stay in contact with my boyfriend and I am trying to work things out. I know I am pretty much just hanging on to a lost cause, but for some reason I just cant let it go. Someone talk some sense into me please.
