I mean she cheated on him about a year ago and he brought it up now. But he said that men usually can know when a girl cheats when the boyfriend has sex with her. It is not impossible for a man to tell that a woman has been unfaithful to him by having sex with her. It is also possible, although a bit harder, for a woman to tell the same about a man.
Some of the easiest to spot signs that your partner has been unfaithful is, if after a long time, they are suddenly into new things. Any significant change in their sexual behavior can indicate that they are learning new things from their new partner(s). Of course, there are other explanations for changes in the bedroom so it is important not to jump the gun.
There are physical signs as well. A woman may be looser than expected. This does not mean that the other guy was bigger though, although that would contribute to it. Anyone who has ever had sex with their girl twice in one day should know that the second time around you can tell you were there earlier. If two people don’t have sex for as little as a few days to a week, and the woman is unfaithful, her man may notice. The sooner after she was unfaithful they do it, the more likely it is he will notice.
A man might last longer, or be unable to climax from fatigue if he is maintaining several sexual relationships. Inability to perform could also be a sign of sexual fatigue (although it can also be a sign of numerous other things).
There are other factors as well which I am not going into ranging from freshness to lack of emotional connection, etc etc which can contribute to someone’s ability to tell if their partner was unfaithful. It is possible to gather lots of ‘evidence’ for yourself that your partner is cheating on you from having sex with them. However, this is type of evidence that is only evident to you. You won’t be able to prove it to a third party, so in the end it will always be "just a hunch".
Some people with hunches, decide to go with their gut and to them they "know" that what they are saying is the truth. It very well might be, and if your friend was unfaithful as you say, then clearly his hunch was right even if he couldn’t prove it to a jury.
